Peony

Today’s blip marks the completion of my fifth month with Blipfoto. I am making good progress with my first attempt to complete a 365 photo challenge.

I will finish out the month with an image of the center of a peony. I noticed that my sister’s plants were covered in flowers, and I thought that they would be a good subject for today’s blip. Unfortunately, it was soon obvious that all of the blooms were well past their prime. I decided to use the camera’s macro setting for this closeup image, and then I added a texture overlay to help cover up the imperfections in the flower.
