Burford Day 2

Another visit to the Church when there was no wedding.

The tomb is for Sir Lawrence Tanfield, a prominent judge.  When he died in 1628, his wife wanted a memorial in the church, but the couple were unpopular and it was refused.  She then marched her workmen into the Church and installed this very impressive memorial.  No action was taken.

The other blips are of the graveyard, swans and cygnets on the River Windrush, young heffers taking a drink in the river, and another section of the River Windrush.
