Ick

This is beautiful Caroline Bay, not looking too beautiful today! You can see where the rough surf has eroded the sand and created a shelf. In the 10 years I've lived in Timaru, I've never seen this before at Caroline Bay. It's usually a very gentle surf.

There's been a lot of rain, and there is some surface flooding, mostly caused by leaves in the gutters.

We need rain, so I suppose it's a good thing, even if it means photo opportunities are limited!
