Wet Walk

Feeling a bit stiff and achy so going to have a less hectic day and will use the time to get rid of some clutter which l have been putting off for ages.
Heavy rain when l woke up but l had to do the early walk, have to admit it was a bit slower when l set off, a bit of a twinge in my Achilles’ tendon but that soon eased.
No ballet this week so the rest should sort it.
Didn’t sleep as well as l expected or had done the last few nights but still more hours than before.
Passed one of the loveliest gardens in the village and couldn’t resist these poppies which match the door so beautifully.
The rain didn’t seem to deter their impact.
Lots of union jacks and bunting around the village.
Found a string of wooden bunting that has union jacks on and put it in my porch , it’s ten years old, we had it for the diamond jubilee at the caravan in Abersoch ( knew it would come in handy again!)
Whatever one’s views l have a lot of admiration for the Queen.
Sun out now, everything looks better and it will do my old bones some good.
