Shiant Islands sunset

Today has been a beautiful day, and the forecast is equally good for the rest of the week. Di, Inge and I went up to the peat tonight for an hour or so, and did most of the turfing.

We all felt that it was harder work than last year.

Could it be that we were cutting the peat later, and therefore the heather had grown, and therefore the spade wouldn't go in so easy?

Could it be that the spades weren't sharp enough?

Could it be that the dogs were annoying us by bringing us sticks and making us interrupt the hard work by having us throw for them?

Could it be that we are older by one year?
