The viburnums were busy today

Lots of green sweat bees, andrena species and the occasional mason bee. Also the drone flies were out when it was sunny but disappeared when in the shade. 
I have put it in  two roses, some perennials  and some annuals over the last 2 days, pulled out a rose that hasn't been doing well and a dead sedge. I still haven't planted any seeds , so it looks like I will be lucky if I get any brussel spouts or tomatoes .
I did not catch the wren going into his house  but  tomorrow I  think I will try for the swallows that have taken over the bluebird  nest boxes instead.
