Peg, Sue, and the Sky

It's Memorial Day, a day often devoted to jingoistic patriotism in the USA. It's an excellent day to re-commit to never waging war anywhere and dis-arming the military, the police, and everyone else. 

Peg, aka RavensRoost, made a Bakewell Tart. It was my first time to taste one, and I loved it. No wonder it was a great success on GBBO. Sue and I joined her for elevenses and then returned to Sue's for a long walk in the cemetery, which was hopping with people leaving flags and flowers on the graves of veterans. Why not just stop creating wars?
