A surprise on the side of the chippies in the village!! 

I was intrigued to see this young man drawing this mural. I asked if I could take a picture and chatted to him. The train is the Flying Scotsman ……such a historic train. We saw and heard so much about it yesterday at the Railway Museum in York. Not sure of the background, who has commissioned it etc. the wall is on the approach to the village station.

Amber was in kennels whilst we were away and was collected by B this morning. She has stayed close to one or other of us since she came back, I’ve had more cuddles than normal :0)
