A bowl of....
For the first time in four years we are here for the cherries. One year of spring frost and two years of delayed arrival due to COVID-19. But this year we got here in April and a late frost only affected one tree. The others are fruiting generously; sweet, waxy and acidic, they taste just perfect.
We spent the morning putting interview findings onto a spreadsheet. Lunch in the garden, then food shopping, a ZOOM interview, a swim, aperos, home made pizza, garden watering and another episode of Derry Girls (we are watching again from the very start). Great day.
