The Lozarithm Lens

Flower Friday (Friday 27th May 2022)

Despite driving to Bath and beyond on Friday I got home without having taken any pictures, slightly disadvantaged by being without any cameras.

A quick tour of the garden when I got home led me to this worse-for-wear clematis which had only very recently bloomed in the Vine Patch. Unfortunately the flowers were very close to the ground and together with the rain this made them very vulnerable to slugs, snails and all sorts.

A healthier osteospermum flower is in Extras.

With thanks to BikerBear for Flower Friday

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Maddy Prior and June Tabor - Almost Every Circumstance (1988)
This song first appeared on this duo's seventies album as the Silly Sisters. I remember seeing them perform it in Broadcasting House for a radio show. I heard this version of it on BBC Sounds, replaying Mark Radcliffe's Folk Show for Radio Two from 11 May, played from their sequel, No More To The Dance.
