Baby bird
This morning I had to work unexpectedly but my brilliant mum was able to have S for me. When I was finished I went back up to the house to have something quick for lunch and Jess was somehow in the garden lounging on the lawn even though I had shut her in the house and closed the doors, completely baffled. The only thing I can think is that the back door just looked closed but wasn’t clicked and she pushed her way out but it closed properly behind her.
I walked down to my mums and stayed for a catch up, S fell asleep on me which she never normally does. Mum gave us a lift home in time for me to show a friend and his parents around the garden, people’s reaction to where we live and the garden is always nice and a good reminder of how lucky we are.
S and I found a baby Robin on the patio, it was in the sun and looked like it was dozing, we put it in the shade under a nearby tree and it soon perked up and flew off. The sun is really hot this afternoon, I’m sat on the back door step planning some meals and a shopping list. Cannon and I are going to FW tomorrow for a big food shop.
