Bleasdale Church

I took the dog for a lovely walk (overcast skies, so dog wasn't nutty) up at Bleasdale.

There's a beautiful old church up there, and I spend quite a lot of time just enjoying the wonderful silence inside the building. It's lovely that the doors are unlocked and people are allowed to stay and absorb the calming atmosphere of the place.

I love these old places of worship. They are "other worldly" and are a tonic for the soul.
