Monument

To honor the sons of the city of Hamburg who died in the war with France of 1870.
My last day in Hamburg was full of moments of goodbye: daughter and grandkids came to the hotel where I
love to spend the last nights. We had a short swim in the hotel pool. When they had left( they had an afternoon invitation elsewhere ) I walked along the Alster, the big lake in the middle of the town, and enjoyed the hugetrees and the so well known views.
