Wham bam thank you Lamb

I have come to the conclusion you cannot have too many pictures of lambs.

This my best lamb shot of the day.

Out looking for migrant birds early and middle if the day, ran out of puff after that and running on empty now. My intention at around 5 am was to record the Dawn chorus - I got into a bit of a muddle with my recorder - flat battery, couldn't think where the spare batteries were ( found eventually ). My digital recorder would still not work until I booted up my system and forced a firmware upgrade on it by then then Dawn Chorus had had breakfast and were thinking about elevenses

Oh the birds - saw Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff (heard both as they are pretty hard to tell apart otherwise). Swallows and not sue if it was a distant person doing the call or a distant bird - Cuckoo ( just 2 times and fairly convincing if someone was having a laugh ). Not claiming the Cuckoo till I'm sure.
