Tentsmuir beach
We left my cousin Beth's this morning in the sunshine but chilly to cycle the rolling Fife countryside to Ceres for coffee. We had brilliant news from L that all was well with the baby (a huge scare but such a relief) which made every mile so much happier. Ceres was a pretty village with an amazing community cafe. Refuelled we headed to St Andrews. We looked at the castle and Abbey- like most Scottish monuments both were closed for structural inspection. Then on to Tayport via Tentsmuir nature reserve and beach where we saw seals bobbing about. Then on to my cousin Tracy's for a spot of tea and cake and a catch up. We left in the rain and made a mad dash across the Tay Bridge to our accommodation in Dundee. Later than we would like now having dinner and a pint! Fab 51 miles!
