Day Off

After a very busy week today was a day off - hurrah!

I headed down to Dawyck Botanic Gardens to check on the meconopsis, a lot more flowering than last weekend but still not at the 'swathes' stage.

Then it was on to Stobo for a sauna, steam etc and a good long lounge by the pool with some of my books.

I popped into Peebles after - there's a new-ish boutique I've been meaning to check out. I got there about 4pm and it seemed that that, along with most of the other shops also closed at that time on a Sunday. Instead of browsing the shops I headed downriver for a wee walk and change (I usually go upstream).
