Together - sort of

I have watched some rather good Hay Festival Talks, in between other things, but the highlight of the day was managing to get together as a family on Zoom. It is so difficult now, especially as the girls get older, to actually meet up; everyone has their own lives and work and social activities and of course there is the distance to travel. So a Zoom meeting is a lovely connection. 

Here is a combined picture of us all - London, Kent and Cumbria. The girls are not that  keen to appear, but that is teenagers for you. The two Londoners are heading to Paris on Thursday for the tennis - an event they have managed to see several times before, but this particular visit has been postponed twice - hopefully they will get there this time. Sadly Greg has  not yet got over the disappointment of last night. He is from Liverpool and is a life-long and totally loyal Liverpool fan - enough said!
