Constance Spry

Rose time is almost here! My Constance Spry has grown a good structure up against the wall and with plenty of horizontal branches there are loads of flower buds just waiting to open. The first few are out today and I couldn’t resist picking them for the house.
This was one of my mother’s favourite roses so I am delighted to have this one doing well.
We had another busy day in the garden, Rob did strimming and mowing, and I potted on my young Acers, and my friendly neighbour gave me tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers for the greenhouse. I think summer is nearly here!
