Return Meltdown

The day she comes home brings epic meltdown. Every time. Its all too much feels. Tonight she realised she'd left Giant Teddy Monkey at school. Not the best monkey. But the giant one. He is on his own. She was mortified. But mainly, she was overtired, overwhelmed and needed to blow off the big feelings. Mama snuggles, warm milk and a talk about the fact it would feel better in the morning.

We are learning.
