Put the Flags Out!

I drove through Chudleigh this morning and was impressed by the flags and bunting that they had out in preparation for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee which begins on Thursday 2nd here in the UK with two extra public holidays to make a long weekend of celebration. 

There will be street parties everywhere, spectacular pageants, trooping of the colour and it'll be dominating our TV screens too. You'd have thought that Her Maj would be entitled to a day off and a few drinks after 70 years and at 96 years of age, but while the UK get days off and a shindig, she'll be attending all sorts of things and won't get a minute to herself!
