Peonies

I woke early. It was chilly. Tossed and turned and thought about trying to sleep but gave in and headed off to feed Alfie via Margiotta for croissants for me and the Manor.

Home to find Coffee Club was cancelled. K, returned from Italy, is back to Zumba and Y has a bad cold. 

I spent the rest of the day pottering in the garden. It wasn't sunny, but it wasn't v raining and it wasn't too cold. It was pottering, stopping and starting doing bird and pieces. Cut back some lilac and planted some of my plants, the ones I can remember what they are, that is.

Willow has taken to lying on the peas. The polystyrene box must keep the soil warm.

Cloudy now. More gardening tomorrow. TV and sewing tonight.
