Away

Elbows has left for Nigeria today, for a week, in his role campaigning for Freedom of Religious Belief.

Nigeria isn’t a country where there is freedom.

So for me, I had various trips taking people to places but also had space to do some long-awaited jobs, dog walk, run and swim - the latter being a last minute thing that EmCoops instigated. I’m so grateful because it was lush. We went to one outdoor lido first, that had shut because the water temperature wasn’t high enough (they really were aiming for seriously warm though). But EmCoops persevered and we drove on to another lido in time for the last hour of the day.

It’s great being there at the end as it gets progressively quieter up to the whistle.

A good day really - although I heard late in the day that Elbows luggage is lost in Istanbul where he had a change over, which is not good.
