My favourite wee ferry.
Main photo is driving onto Kylerhea-Glenelg ferry, The MV Ballahullish, which connects Isle of Skye to the mainland. Its said to be the last manually rotating turntable ferry in the world - use it or loose it! There were four cars and a couple of cyclists on our crossing, that’s it full. http://skyeferry.co.uk/ I prefer this route when not under time pressure, it’s a summer alternative to the excellent Skye bridge. Our drive through Glenelhg was like January not May. No big views of Ratigan today. Pouring, heavy rain and misty. South of Fort William it was brighter; we parked at Corran Ferry slip and had lunch, it was busy, (extra photo). Glencoe looked better than our journey north, (extra photos).
We passed our older son and daughter-in-law near Loch Lubnaig, on their way north for a weekend wedding. Younger son also at a wedding.
Watched our family rugby team play in FOSROC Super 6 game. A breathtaking affair; they won by a point at last minute. Phew!
