A Sprinkle of Gold….

This red camellia is the first to flower on its tree. The tree is smothered in buds so will be a picture soon. If you look carefully you will see pollen sprinkled like gold on the flower petals.
I spent most of the day raking leaves off the lawns. We are in the middle of leaf fall so the garden is looking fairly messy. I used the big electric leaf blower with its very long heavy duty lead this afternoon. Using the blower is fun now that I’ve got the knack of using it efficiently. Bad weather is heading towards New Zealand from the north. Take care every body and stay safe.
