Boom
Went across to the market (making me realise that it must be Saturday) and on my way back noticed that an eider couple were managing to use the new boom as a sort of resting spot - they seem to have their tail ends (or DAs, even) hitched up on it somehow. Doubt if the youngsters will be able to climb on to it though, as they did onto the previous plank.
Met Trev in the afternoon for a look at the photos he took - great shots, pity about the decrepitude of the subject. We had coffee and a cake in Victor Hugo's, which neither of us had been in since it replaced P. Express. It's still a very nice space to be in with its view of the Shore, but if I was going out for coffee/cake during the day again, think I'd revert to Cafe Truva.
D and company survived their first wedding of the season on the island, which they had been dreading somewhat. It had to take place out of doors - it didn't rain, but apparently the bride wore a long train which was great for sweeping up the goose shit on the lawns......
