Erskineville Station

We walked the long way from Kings Cross via the Botanic Gardens for the sole purpose of checking out a new sculpture. Bara, by Judy Watson, is 6 metres high and inspired by the shell hooks used by Eora women for fishing. The view is a bit touristy, but I hadn’t been to this spot on the Tarpeian lawn before. It’s now relegated to the extra.
