Record store day

Today was Record store day. (in case you didn't know it!)

Fans of vinyl around the globe congregated at their local independent retailers, some queueing all night to be first in the line to snap up some of the special items scheduled for limited release only in the participating stores. I foolishly assumed I could roll up in Kingston at around 11 and pick up the nick cave 12" and re released kate Bush 10" WRONG! The queue of eager punters stretched down the street and around the block... So I just took some photos through the window of the cool till guy and the vinyl obsessive with his arms full of precious things and we went off to buy ipads.
