What a pleasure to call on Sheila and Will and have lunch and a guided tour of their garden.  Who needs to go to Chelsea when you can learn so much from them!
Got back home in time to go to a concert in Kendal by the Manchester Camerata, "Britain's most adventurous orchestra" (The Times).  I enjoyed the Vivaldi and Bach, not so sure of the second half which featured composers 'who have composed in the Minimalist style feature, which involves the use of the minimum of material to the maximum effect, by extensive repetition of short musical motifs sometimes underpinned by chords of very long duration'.  Let's stick to saxophones Will!
