Birthday cake

After a very uncomfortable ride in Barry's ancient Landrover we had a successful birthday celebration. B's mum was thrilled to have us all together and his dad was pleased I had made the effort to make him his own sugar free cake to enjoy. We stayed about 3 hours which was enough for them. They are so used to being quiet, just the two of them it can be a bit overwhelming to have a crowd. I am glad to be home and out of the travelling metal box! Tomorrow I'm hoping the weather will stay fine, well  at least not rain, as I want to spend the day in the garden as there is lots to catch up with. It will be good to have a day of gentle movement, I'm not intending to do any heavy digging!
