An early start

But definitely worth it. The water was like silk at Ullswater today. I met Liz at silly o’clock followed by Ruth and Julie an hour or so later. The advantages of getting there early are a parking place and calm water.
We were out for 2 hours. I stood and paddled quite a few times but definitely found it easier to kneel and paddle. I think I’m a bit frightened of cracking another rib if I fall off!
Will and Georgina popped in this afternoon.
It’s now Prosecco o’clock…
Charlotte just called to let me know the Boutique had been robbed, she’d had to call the police, security has been tightened and everyone is safe.
