G from Upholstery came round for coffee. She had a couple of good ideas about the garden - think I’ve pretty much decided what I want now. Just need to choose the materials and do measurements etc. We had a nice chat - she stayed for three hours which was longer than I was expecting so just had time for a quick lunch , some tidying up and to sort out the decorator before I went out to return the heart monitor. Was just leaving when I got a panicked phone call from J asking how to clean paint off curtains. As I was only 10 minutes away I called in. He had bought some paint for the models he uses in d and d and the top came off as he was looking at it . Paint went all over curtains, wall and floor. He had cleaned the floor and was trying to sponge it off the curtains. We took them down, soaked them in soapy water and used a nail brush but couldn’t get rid of the big stains. Wall will also need repainting. Went to Dunelm on the way home and bought new light fitting, bed linen, cushions etc. Got home and decorator has finished both rooms but needs to return with a scaffold tower for under the eaves. This is the sitting room but paint is darker than it looks here
