A Waikato autumn afternoon...

...saw me having a wander around the garden after a late lunch, emptying the scrap bucket onto the compost heap, lighting a fire of dry garden waste in the 44 gallon drum,(the wood ash will go around the citrus in time), casting an eye down through the jacquemontii birches to the Lutyens bench and finally over the front fence  and Waikato dairy farms towards Mt Pirongia .
