World cup in Qatar ?.... whoomph!!

I joined the Kuwait football scene on Friday ... 32 players rocked up for a game, the pitches were great - 7-a-side size, nice artificial surface but in full view of the blazing sun. We kicked off at 3:30pm and played 3 games of 30 mins. To say I was hot is a massive understatement, at times I felt there was no air in the air - like inhaling a hair dryer on full blast.

Fifa can really not hold the world cup in Qatar in the middle of the summer ... someone will die!
