Flower Friday 27_2022 :: FF27_2022 :: Poppies

I'm kinda stuck on the theme of poppies at the moment so during my visit to Mount Grace near Osmotherley I couldn't resist snapping these. 

Yesterday we had a few gusts of winds at home and both my poppies were laid flat. It is a shame as both were in their best shape since I planted them with dozens of flower heads getting ready to bloom. I'm hoping they will recover with supports.

Today was our second visit to Mount Grace and it has become even more beautiful. I have added a collage in extras but there are a greater selection on my Flickr page.
