River Derwent

Feeling much better today - spent the morning redecorating one of the walls in the lounge - it had got a bit knocked and marked over 2 1/2 years, Deb did the edges and I did the work with the roller (extra). A perfect day to do it, as it poured all morning.

After lunch it cleared up, so we parked at the south end of Derwentwater and took a walk over the chinese bridge and round to Otter island. The river Derwent, which we usually paddleboard along, was flowing really fast - I would fancy our chances battling upstream against that flow - certainly shows how much rain we've had over the past week or two!
