Maigold.

The sunshine is lovely but the gusting wind is keeping things chilly so most of the day has been spent indoors doing all the usual sofa activities or maybe inactivities is a better description.  I did place a Sainsbury's grocery order for next Wednesday and later on went out and gardened for a while.  Quite a few weeds grubbed up and the buttercups which had invaded some geraniums at the front have gone.  Found two or three little clumps of bluebells that had hidden themselves away as well.  Trawled round the garden looking for a blip as usual but everything was tossing around in the wind and  most of the birds are busy with their young.  Foxgloves and poppies are going to flower soon but not yet. Maigold was doing it's stuff however, covered in blooms. so came to the rescue.
