Reach for the sky . . .

As it’s Friday, and as I need some ‘Buds of May’ shots for next month’s Photo Group meeting, and as the sun was shining (most of the time), I decided to have a photo-session on our rose bush.
 
As often happens I was not happy with the first couple of hundred shots (slight exaggeration) so I went back and took these two amongst the rest.  I was going to abandon the shot at extra until I saw the web between the buds which only showed up after developing.
