Community pride

I went for my normal after-work walk today. It was nice, though a little humid. I guess that's inevitable now that it's spring and it rains all the time.

Jill and I are starting to plan an elopement. Or something like it. I'm going to drop off the paperwork for a marriage license, and then we can have a courthouse ceremony; we'll have the big day with guests when the pandemic subsides.

This state is kind of funny, though. You have to get married in the county you apply for a license in. In Pennsylvania, you can get married in any county, regardless of where you get the license. Our original Pennsylvania plan fell through, so we're looking at options here.
