Drysdale Public Housing

Public housing has been much in the news here, what with our new Prime Minister having grown up in a block in Camperdown and about to move to the pinnacle of public housing - the Lodge in Canberra.

Waterloo has less aesthetically-pleasing brutalist towers, soon to be demolished, and lower-rise but still brutalist blocks like Drysdale. I was over that way for a haircut so checked out the place where The Kid Laroi lived for a time. (If you don’t know the name, you must be over 18.)

The extra is a community garden in one of the tower blocks.
