Spirit Traffic

My friends Jane and John motored in yesterday afternoon and we've had a wonderful day and a half catching up. I went to high school with John and met Jane about 8 years ago when I drove up to Vermont for a job and stayed with them for about a month. What fabulous people. They took this huge motorcycle trip across the country about 7 years ago to celebrate Jane's son's graduation from college. Jane, who is a fabulous writer, wrote a memoir about it. Now they are doing the cross country trip again, sans their son who is living in Montana, and doing book readings along the way. So here Jane is outside the Blue Hill Library just before her reading. It was a small but appreciative crowd. I'm so happy I got to be just a little part of this fabulous adventure. Tomorrow they head up to Quebec, Canada. They will be on the reading journey through August. Tomorrow a blip of them and their motorcycles.
