Thursday: Approaching Jubilee

I had another course today which meant a 4am start.  On the whole, they’re limited to one or two days so it’s definitely short-term pain.  Between us, I did nod off for about five minutes during this morning’s session.  Luckily I don’t think I missed anything vital.

I had a nap this afternoon so didn’t feel too bad.  K and I went for a neighbourhood walk afterwards.  This statue of the Queen is outside Rideau Hall.  

I was quite sad to hear that Ray Liotta has died.  Two reasons, I love ‘Goodfellas’ and thought he was excellent in it, but also because he has been a source of great amusement to me and my dear friend, WendsWanders.  She once told me that, for the longest time, she had thought he was called Rayleigh Otter, which I found highly entertaining.
