Wait for me

Today I had my pre hospital appointment in readiness for my op on Monday. I had the full works including an ECG and full medical history, it took over an hour with three different nurses. I found out that a bed has been booked for me for Monday evening so as I suspected having read about the operation, I won’t be coming home until at least Tuesday. I am allowed a visit on Monday evening but I don’t expect my husband to come to the hospital. I won’t have the procedure until some time in the afternoon.I have to have my breakfast before 7am or go without.
I went for a late afternoon walk this afternoon. The female duck was very proud of her six ducklings along the river.
