Views and cows!!

These cows stopped me in my tracks on my way back to end my three hour hike, I let them trot across the field all while eyeing me with amusement, before I scored around and headed for the gate to get me out of the field!

I enjoyed the hike, reccing part of a race route that had what looked to be the most ridiculous climb on the elevation plot! Luckily, while it was steep, it was not as bad as I had feared, there are a few runnable sections, and even walking today I was able to keep the cutoff pace, throw in some running and I’ll hopefully be golden!!

Love a good day in the Peak District and I’m hoping to recce more of the route before race day!
