Abstract Thursday - Woodland

Having chosen woodland as my abstract subject I struggled to meet this challenge as what I was wanting to convey was the clash of vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines caused by the storm damaged woodland but there always seem to be a bit too much detail in the picture. In the end I used the find edges filter with pin light blend and then in Lightroom took all the clarity and texture by pushing the sliders to -100and increased the vibrance to give patches of colour.
