A Tree that Bends

‘ The wind does not break a tree that bends.’ 


     I saw several trees today bent by the winds and it was indeed very windy - too windy for a cycle as there were gusts up to 40 mph so we had a walk by Loch Ba from Knock near Loch na Keal . It was lovely to have one last glimpse of the Loch as we drove back to Treshnish. 
We treated ourselves to lunch at the Glass Barn on the Cheese Farm at Tobermory. The ‘ On our Farm’ podcast from BBC Radio 4 about the farm is really interesting- how the family came from Somerset in the 1980s and bought a derelict farm building the thriving business which it is today .
Packing up this evening- always sad to be leaving!
