A front garden a couple of streets away

Saw these gorgeous nigella, when I went for a walk to post some cards. Oxfam in the afternoon - it was closed last week for electrical repairs, so there was a mountain of donated books. Luckily the Duke Of Edinburgh award volunteer came in, and we powered through the huge pile. 
I was in an awful mood today, deep down. Another terrible school massacre in Texas, the ‘pro-life’ state that bans all abortions but allows troubled 18 year olds to buy automatic weapons. When a young man buys 600 live rounds, does nobody think to ask “what are you going to do with these?”  Not just sad, but angry.
