A sunny afternoon...

...at WWT Caerlaverock - only little hedgerow birds in evidence but a lovely walk nevertheless. Swallows flitting, and the warden we chatted to told us about natterjack toads in the pond.
Views across to Criffel and to the north lakes in extras.
Afterwards visited Caerlaverock Castle and had an ice cream and another walk.
Strolled out for a delicious Italian meal this evening - we've covered a lot of ground today :)
