Splash of Colour
Another rescued plant. When P & I moved into our house, this little rose sat forgotten in a dark corner between two much bigger shrubs. Only a few green leaves were left, to show it wasn’t completely dead.
I planted it in a pot, to give it a chance and to see which colour its flowers would be. After two years, it flowered for the first time, in a pale pink. Then I transplanted it into our front garden, and got a surprise when it changed its colour. It’s certainly not pale anymore!
Today was a holiday, but after gardening this morning, I worked for a few hours to make up for lost time earlier this week.
Thank you for the stars, hearts and comments on yesterday’s anniversary blip. P sadly didn’t feel well enough to party, but we will celebrate this weekend.
