Dodging the Rain!

The forecast for today was pretty horrible, so we'd decided to pop into town to send a pudding to a friend, then pop off to Hassop Station to eat outside under their marquee. 

But a window of opportunity opened up at lunchtime: two hours when the Met thought there was minimal chance of rain. So we drove to Hassop Station, got on our bikes, and did a three mile trip up the Monsal Trail (and three miles back, but that was downhill!) It was so nice to be out on the bikes again.

Then we had lunch as planned, and it was not only very nice but the staff were lovely too.

We've tidied up but we can't do much more packing today. The rain is teeming down as expected, so we'll play some music and watch a film.
