That's A Relief

I had various symptoms that all tallied and I thought it would be sensible to take a test.  It was quite worrying watching that little window changing from white to black... And then the big reveal - one line on the C.

Phew.  One less thing to worry about.  Or rather - one thing less on the list of possible causes of my lethargy and general malaise.

Today is Christi Himmelfahrt (Ascension Day) here and is therefore a holiday (not that I'm having a holiday).  It's also Fathers Day - a day when groups of men go for a long walk trailing a wagon filled with booze and celebrating the gift of fatherhood.  It's mainly about the booze as far as I can tell.  

I will not be venturing out.  I'm staying home, I'm staying warm and I'm sticking to lemonade and water.
